About Us
Pakistan Village Development Program (PVDP) since 1999, works for the “Promotion of building a just civil society by harnessing the creative energies of poor and underprivileged”. This aim is achieved with the close collaboration of partner communities and Development Organizations through Participatory, Demand Responsive, Gender and Poverty sensitive integrated development approach in Pakistan.
Mission:

Objectives:
Support and develop replicable models and strategies for sustainable development based on community participation and local resource mobilization.
Support initiatives for sustainable community based, gender sensitive development with particular focus on; drinking water supply, Environmental sanitation, Education, Agriculture, Health & Nutrition, and Micro credit & Enterprise
To encourage, build and strengthen the technical and management capacity of development organizations (CBOs, NGOs and Government Line departments) to ensure sustainability of development initiatives.
To create linkages between different stakeholders including development organizations (Private & Public) for sustainable development.

PVDP at a Glance
Geographic Focus:
PVDP has undertaken several sustainable developmental projects in its program areas within the Rural and Urban Pakistani communities and Afghan Refugee Camps. The Geographical areas of interventions include Northern Districts with hilly terrain, the plains of southern Districts and the more fertile areas of central districts. PVDP feels proud about their qualitative achievements in collaboration with different partners. PVDP sectoral Programmatic interventions are implemented in the central, southern and northern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa , FATA and AJK.
